QuickBooks Online MCP Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Tidal AIBI, LLC handles information processed through the QuickBooks Online MCP integration ("QBO MCP"). This policy applies only to data accessed through the QBO MCP connector.
1. Data We Access
- Company profile and account metadata from QuickBooks Online.
- Accounting records such as invoices, expenses, customers, vendors, and chart of accounts.
- Operational finance metadata needed for troubleshooting and service performance.
2. How We Use Data
- To execute customer-approved MCP workflows and answer user requests.
- To generate summaries, analytics, and automation outputs requested by authorized users.
- To monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and maintain service security.
3. Data Sharing
Tidal AIBI, LLC does not sell QBO MCP customer data. Data is shared only with subprocessors required to run the service (for example, cloud hosting and logging providers) under confidentiality and security obligations, or when required by law.
4. Security Controls
- Encryption in transit using TLS.
- Access controls, role-based permissions, and audit logging.
- Secret management and credential isolation for integration keys and tokens.
5. Data Retention
Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service, satisfy legal obligations, and resolve security or support issues. Customers may request deletion of retained integration data, subject to legal and contractual requirements.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Configure user permissions in QuickBooks Online to enforce least privilege.
- Use only authorized accounts and maintain account security.
- Ensure lawful use of accounting and personal data processed through the connector.
